Q. How much money will I get back if I choose UFA Private School?
According to my last conversation with Odyssey, no amount has been determined.

Q. Should I choose homeschool or private school when I apply for UFA?

It depends on what you want to spend your funds on. If you want to spend your funds on classes, select Private School. This will give you the most funds for classes. If you want to spend it mostly on curriculum, choose Homeschool.

Q. Does your Private School mean I have to leave my students at your Academy all day 5 days a week?

Q. Can I change from Private School to Homeschool Marketplace if I change my mind?
Yes. (as of April 1, 2025)

Yes. But check with Odyssey. This seems to change more than my hair color. ;)

Q. Is there a way to take a tour over the summer?
We are currently under construction as we build out the new academy. We should be ready for tours in late July.  I am adding the inspiration picture as this is where we are drawing our design ideas from. It wont look exactly like this but a version of it. :) The new space is housed in a warehouse 100ft from our old address. Yes! It is right next door!

Q. Are parents able to stay on campus or near campus during classes?
Yes. Parents have a place to hang out while their students are in class. We, however, would love for parents to only stay in the building if it is necessary for the wellbeing of their students.

My student is a type one diabetic. What are the guidelines for medical needs like this?
This is a great question. We have had kids with similar medical devices. We are sure to let your teachers know about any medical concerns before the year begins. We don't offer snacks during classes. This is only if your child brings a snack with them. In this case, we would want to be sure your student has clear instructions that they need to notify a teacher or staff member that they need to be administered insulin. We will also need your verbal consent to administer meds to insure any additional instructions are deliver to the teacher if necessary.

Q. If the children have 4 hour days, is there any kind of lunch break?
Yes. We purposefully dismiss class at the :50min mark on each hour with an exception at noon. We will Dismiss class at 11:50AM, the normal time, and start the noon class at 12:10PM. This gives students a 20 min lunch break and still allows for classes to stay on schedule. The 12:10PM class will end at 1:00PM putting the schedule back on track for the rest of the day.
