Position: Robotics Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable STEM teacher to lead, inspire, and educate students in robotics engineering and programming. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in STEM fields, hands-on experience with robotics systems, and a passion for fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork in students.
Key Responsibilities

Instruction & Curriculum Development:
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that teach students the fundamentals of robotics, engineering principles, and programming.

Classroom Management:
Maintaining a positive and collaborative learning environment which encourages student participation, teamwork, and innovation.
Technical Training: (Preferred)

Teach students to build, program, and operate VEX robots using software platforms such as VEXcode, RobotiC, or similar.
Hands-On Learning:
-
Provide hands-on learning experiences, allowing students to apply theoretical concepts to real-world challenges through robotics projects.
Assessment & Progress Monitoring:

Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and quizzes, providing constructive feedback to promote skill development.
Equipment Management:

Manage and maintain Robotics kits, tools, and classroom technology. Ensure all equipment is functional and properly stored.
Collaboration:
-
Work closely with other STEM teachers, IT staff, and the administration to support and enhance the school's robotics and technology curriculum.
Qualifications
Education:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Education, or related field by completed by August 2025.
Experience:
Previous experience teaching in the K-12 school system.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in basic programming languages such as Python, C++, C# or VEXcode. Preferred: Familiarity with VEX EDR, V5, and IQ platforms.
