The UTSAA Alliance Initiative provides students with a robust and comprehensive STEM curriculum is focused on the cutting-edge disciplines of Robotics, Programming, and Video Game Development. Furthermore, the program leverages real-world applications, professional certifications, and career development opportunities to pave a clear path to future career opportunities. All at a cost that is typically less than the total compensation (Salary & Benefits) of an early career instructor at their institution.

Pricing

To provide the most flexibility, all programs are offered on a per-course, plus materials basis. This way you remain in full control of your program or course mix with minimal impact on your existing instructor to student ratio.

The exact price of any specific collaboration varies based on numerous factors including, but not limited to materials geographic location, institution type, experience level of available instructors, etc. The team at UTSAA will work with you to provide a price based on your unique situation and needs, during our initial discovery process. 

As an example, this table below illustrates the potential costs for public secondary schools across the greater Salt Lake City area on a per-course basis. Similar tables are available for private/Charter Secondary Schools or Elementary Schools upon request.

About Us

Utah STEM and Arts Academy officially opened our doors in October of 2023 with a singular mission: to bridge educational gaps for students in Utah. 

We accomplish this goal by providing diverse educational opportunities in the Arts and STEM including programs in Video Game Development, Programming, Robotics, Music, Languages, and Visual Arts.

STEM Courses

Introduction to Programming
This introductory course, is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in Python followed by an exploratory look into C, C++, and C#. Students will learn essential programming concepts, problem-solving techniques, and basic coding skills. This course emphasizes practical applications and logical thinking.  This course is designed to provide a gradual progression towards understanding these influential programming languages, setting the stage for more advanced studies in computer science and software development. 

 

Introduction to Video Game Development
This course introduces students to the fundamentals of video game design covering a range of topics from sprite creation and animation to programming logic and sound design. Through a mix of theoretical and practical sessions, students learn how to design and develop their own video games. 

Robotics: Automation and Design I

This course provides students with content and skills essential to the design and operation of robotic systems. Students’ activities include artificial intelligence specialized sensors, electronic applications, engineering technologies, environmental physics, manufacturing, topographical considerations, programming, motions physics, electric motors, communications, simulations, simulation and modeling, and critical thinking skills.
