Summary Cost Analysis

Due to the high demand for their specialized skills in the private sector, qualified instructors in the fields of Robotics, Programming, and Video Game Development typically command robust salaries. As such, secondary schools often find it particularly challenging to hire and retain such professionals, especially on a full-time basis.

The UTSAA Alliance Initiative seeks to solve this problem by providing secondary institutions with access to these same highly qualified instructors—on a per-course cost basis. An approach which enables you to bring our faculty’s subject matter expertise, passion for learning, and instructional talents directly to your students using the proven adjunct instruction model.

While this model has almost exclusively been leveraged within the field of education by higher education institutions, they too find it cost prohibitive to maintain certain specialties on a full-time basis, our program enables its deployment by secondary institutions in Utah.

Now many public schools can enrich students' learning experiences without overburdening their budget. The tables below illustrate the potential costs for public secondary schools across the greater Salt Lake City area.

Resource Allocation
Example

We will allocate our expert faculty and administrative support on a per-course basis to ensure seamless integration into your school's existing framework as follows:

One (1) Instructor: one hundred and thirty-one (131) dedicated hours of direct instruction and course preparation.

One (1) Program Director: up to five (5) dedicated hours of oversight, evaluation, instructional support, and/or direct instruction.

One (1) Instructional Aid: for classes over 15 students.
