VIDEO GAME DESIGN 1 (Ages 12+)

Semester 1:
Build upon your RPG foundation by expanding worlds, refining mechanics, and deepening player immersion. In this course, students will design more complex levels, integrate side quests, and develop interactive NPCs with unique behaviors. Through visual coding and structured planning, they’ll enhance storytelling, gameplay balance, and overall game flow, setting the stage for advanced development.

Semester 2:
Focusing on the creative process, this semester guides students in turning their innovative game concepts into actionable plans. By crafting a design document that details everything from narrative structure to interactive features, students gain essential skills in planning and documentation, laying a solid foundation for their future game development projects.

UNITY Game Development

Duration: 1 Year (2 Semesters)
Ages: 12+

In this class, you’ll learn how to design and create your own video games using Unity, one of the most popular game development tools. You’ll dive into 2D and 3D game design, learn how to code gameplay features, and bring your game ideas to life. This hands-on course is perfect for students who want to explore the exciting world of game development!

Minecraft Modding (Ages 8+)

Prerequisites: None
Includes typing: Very little
Reading level: 2nd Grade+
Duration: 1 Year (2 Semesters)

Minecraft Creative Coding is an interactive course that introduces kids to the fundamentals of programming—such as loops, conditionals, and functions—while they explore and shape the immersive world of Minecraft Education Edition, blending creative exploration with logical problem-solving through project-based challenges that encourage teamwork, critical thinking, and hands-on learning in a fun, inclusive environment.
