Art Classes

Our ART pathway for kids ages 4+ provides a well-rounded experience in both fine arts and digital arts. Students will learn important skills in Drawing, Elementary Art 1 and 2, and 2D Animation, while also exploring digital arts like animation, digital music production, and photography. This program lets students develop their creativity in both traditional art forms and modern digital tools. Through hands-on projects and interactive lessons, this class is perfect for young artists, animators, musicians, and photographers who want to grow their skills in a variety of art styles!​

Early Art (Ages 4 - 5)

Duration: 1 Year (2 Semesters)

Introduce your little artist to the world of creativity in our Early Art class for ages 4-5! Over the course of the year, kids will explore different art techniques and materials, from painting and drawing to working with clay and more. Through fun, hands-on activities, children will develop their fine motor skills while expressing themselves through colorful and imaginative artwork. This class is the perfect way to spark a love for art

 

 

Elementary Art 1 (K - 3rd Grade)

 

Ages: 5 - 8
Duration: 1 Year (2 Semesters)

Elementary Art (K–3) is an engaging course that guides students through drawing, painting, and mixed media while building skills in creating, presenting, responding, and connecting. Through hands-on projects, students develop creativity, confidence, and critical thinking. In a supportive classroom, young artists explore new techniques and express their ideas.

Elementary Art 2 (4th - 6th Grade)

 

Ages: 8 - 14
Duration: 1 Year (2 Semesters)

Elementary Art 2 (4th - 6th Grade) builds on foundational skills in drawing, painting, and mixed media while introducing new materials like clay, collage, and digital illustration. Through project-based lessons, students refine techniques, develop personal style, and strengthen critical thinking and problem-solving as they prepare for more advanced art experiences.

Drawing is a dynamic course where students develop essential drawing skills using pencils, charcoal, and pastels. Through guided exercises in line, shape, form, perspective, shading, and composition, learners build strong observational abilities and creative confidence. Open-ended drawing projects and personalized feedback help each student express ideas, solve visual challenges, and cultivate their own artistic voice in a supportive studio environment.

 

Digital Animation 1 

 

Ages: 10+ 
Duration: 1 Year (2 Semesters)
Location: Lehi
Prerequisite: None

Animation 1 (Ages 10+)

 

This introductory animation course teaches students the core principles of movement—timing, squash and stretch, and anticipation—through hands-on, frame-by-frame work. Using accessible digital tools, learners will develop storyboards, sketch key frames, and assemble simple sequences. For example, students will create a 10-second walk cycle that brings a character to life with smooth motion and personality. By completing short, guided projects, participants build creativity, technical skills, and confidence, laying the groundwork for more advanced animation studies.

 


3D Printing 1: Shapes, Angles, & Polish 

 

Ages 8+
Duration: 1 Year (2 Semesters)
Class Length: 60 min
Location: Lehi 
Prerequisites: None

 

Learn the basics of 3D modeling to print your very own 3D prints! In this ceramics class for the digital age, students learn all about the operation of a 3D printer, the cool things you can create in the 3D printing world, and the 3D modeling strategies that make it all work.

 

 

3D Printing 2: 3D Design

 

Ages 8+
Duration: 1 Year (2 Semesters)
Class Length: 60 min
Location: Lehi 
Prerequisites: 3D Printing 1

In 3D Printing II, students learn advanced modeling and printing techniques. They practice designing more complex, custom shapes to bring their ideas to life and use finishing methods that add professional-looking details. The course also covers basic business skills and the ethics of selling 3D-printed creations.
