Jr. Robotics 1: Light, Sound, & Motion
Typing: Yes. A little.
Reading level: 1st grade
Duration: 1 Semester
Location: Lehi
Dive into the world of robotics and electronics! Students make gadgets with Arduino - a hobbyist electronic engineering platform that makes appearances in high school and college classrooms around the world. This course teaches a basic understanding of the flow of electricity from an engineer’s perspective, and students take home cool projects along the way!
Jr. Robotics 2: Modelling & Engineering
Prerequisites: Jr. Robotics 1
Typing: Yes. A little.
Reading level: 1st grade
Ages 8+
Duration: 1 Semester
Location: Lehi
A natural continuation from Jr Robotics 1 into Jr Robotics 2 introduces more complex code, more complex engineering, and more awesome projects await students in Jr. Robotics 2! Students use 3D software to design cool parts, program sensors to allow their creations to react to change, and try out exotic electronic parts like controller joysticks, MOSFETs, and radio-transceivers!
